After the game, we went drove a ways back towards Bozeman to Chico Hotsprings. Now, I went to a hotsrings last weekend, so I thought I knew what I was getting myself into. Oh, how much I underestimated this trip. First of all, Mrs. Ray (Jenny) got us a room for the night at this hotsprings/resort. It was a such a nice place to be with great views and a lodgy/saloon feel. We arrived at about 9:00 PM, so after we unpacked a bit and walked around the grounds, we got in about an hour of swimming before bed. We all had a good night's sleep and then woke up to do some more poolside lounging and relaxing before heading home. It was such a nice way to spend time getting to know Tara's family and getting to enjoy one of Montana's hot spots. I would definitely not mind to go back to the hotsprings for a vacation at some point in the future.
When we left the hotsprings today around 1:30 PM, Tara's mom was going to drop us off in Bozeman on her way back to Darby (hometown of the Rays). Paul wanted to meet Tara's family, so we gave him a call and got him to meet us for a late lunch at the Garage. We had a delicious lunch with lots of good conversation about our exciting and relaxing weekend as well as reliving crazy stories from the past 2 weeks of our work in the office.
I am so glad that I got to spend this time with Tara's family and I cannot wait until I get to spend time with them again. It is so nice to get the chance to be a part of someone else's family, especially since I am so far from home and missing my own.
