It's been a while

I know, I know, I haven't posted anything in what seems like YEARS. Tara and I have packed a lot of Montana into a few short days. Because of the 4th of July and a NACUFS conference that Paul had to attend, we got a few days off to go on an adventure...

It all started with my brother's visit for the weekend of the 4th. We had a blast! We drove through the Beartooth Pass, went to see Old Faithful in Yellowstone, went to a rodeo, and had some quality brother/sister time.
Ronald and me, before the rodeo!

After he went home, Tara, myself, and two of Tara's friends went camping in Glacier National Park. It was absolutely beautiful! This was also a short trip, but we were able to take a good 12 mile hike and then a 4 mile hike the next morning. Both revealed gorgeous views that I am very thankful to have experienced. Long story--but we ended up using a Kodak Fun Saver disposable camera on this trip, so pictures will be coming in the near (or maybe more distant...) future.

Now it's time to get back to work! Today, we are catching up on all of our emails and projects that we left open ended before the holiday. Tara is working diligently on our dish sitaution and I just recieved some good news via email! The Malt-O-Meal sales representative that we are working with accepted our offer, so MSU will be switching a few of its cereals to Malt-O-Meal. This is very exciting because I learned a great deal about myself, Microsoft Excel, and the entire research, negotiating, and purchasing process. I feel so accomplished that this project turned into something that MSU can benefit from.

Time for me to get back to work...like I said before, check back for pictures from our adventure!
